Getting rid of bureaucratic stigma

Every 10 years, Population and Housing Census takes place. Czech Statistical Office therefore announced public tender for new visual style of Census 2021. This is the winning design chosen by professional jury from the competition of more than 100 entries. The identity also won gold at ADC Awards, gold at World Logo Design Awards and silver at World Brand Design Awards.


The whole identity is friendly, playful and fresh as it needed to get rid of the stigma from previous censuses which were regarded as bureaucratic harassment and also obsolete.
